Once you decide to book, we start planning your session together.

First, I’ll ask you a few questions about you — what made you want to do boudoir, how you would like to see yourself in the photographs, what you feel comfortable with and what you definitely don’t want.

From there, I’ll help you develop the direction for the shoot: the mood, location, outfits and overall visual story. You can send me photographs of clothes you already own or things you’re considering buying, and I’ll help you choose what will work best on camera.

You’ll also receive my Preparation Guide with practical tips and reminders, so you don’t have to keep everything in your head.

Before the session, we’ll confirm the final plan together.

And on the day of the shoot, you don’t need to arrive knowing how to pose or what to do. I’ll guide you through the entire process — from the first frame to the last.

How long will it take?

Depending on the package, the photography itself takes approximately 1–3 hours.

I recommend keeping the day relatively free rather than squeezing the session between other plans. Part of the experience is having time to get ready, settle in and actually enjoy it.

If you book professional makeup, allow approximately one additional hour before the shoot.

For hotel or Airbnb sessions, the exact schedule also depends on the venue’s check-in time.

How far in advance I should book?

Ideally, start planning at least 3 weeks before your preferred date.

This gives you enough time to order or try outfits, prepare anything you would like to prepare — nails, lashes, hair, etc. — and make decisions without rushing. None of these beauty treatments are required.

If possible, I also recommend choosing a date when you are not expecting your period, simply for your own comfort.

My approach starts before Photoshop.

During the shoot, I guide your posture, movement, angles and expressions so we create flattering photographs in camera rather than trying to completely change your body afterwards.

Your final photographs receive professional colour correction and detailed retouching. I clean up temporary skin imperfections and can make subtle adjustments where appropriate while keeping you recognisable as yourself.

You’ll also have one round of reasonable retouching adjustments for your selected photographs if there is something you would like me to revisit.

Not at all — most of my clients are not professional models.

You don’t need to arrive knowing what to do. I’ll guide you through posing, movement, hands, facial expressions and where to look throughout the session.

Do I need to loose weight before the shoot?

No.

You don’t need to reach a particular weight or body shape before booking. My job is to work with your body as it is now through lighting, posing, styling and angles.

If you personally have a milestone you want to wait for, that’s completely your choice — but it isn’t a requirement for the photographs.

Do I have to wear lingerie or be nude?

No.

Boudoir doesn’t require a particular level of undress. We can work with lingerie, a bodysuit, an oversized shirt, a dress, a jacket, sheets or other styling that feels right for you.

We decide the boundaries beforehand, and you never need to do something simply because it is “expected” in boudoir.

Will my photographs be published?

Only with your permission.

Boudoir is private by default. I will never publish your photographs on my website, social media, portfolio or advertising without your consent.

You can also choose to allow only particular photographs to be shared while keeping the rest completely private.

Can I bring someone with me?

Please discuss this with me before the session.

For most boudoir shoots I recommend keeping the set small and private, as it usually makes it easier to relax. If having someone with you would make you more comfortable, we can decide together what works best for your session.

What should I wear?

You don’t need to figure this out alone.

After booking, you’ll receive my Preparation Guide, and I’ll help you choose outfits based on your body, personal style, location and the mood we want to create.

You also don’t necessarily need to buy anything new — some of the best looks can come from pieces you already own.

Can I give a Boudoir session as a gift?

Absolutely. Gift certificates are available.

You can purchase the experience for someone else while leaving the concept, date, outfits and level of intimacy entirely up to them.

What If I'm nervous?

You probably will be — and that’s completely normal.

We don’t start by expecting you to immediately feel confident in front of the camera. We start slowly, I direct you throughout the process, and the session develops from there.

You don’t have to arrive feeling like a boudoir woman. That’s what the experience is for.
